Finally I have 13 seconds to sit and put up some long-overdue pictures! (Maybe even more than 13…)
[Forever ago] We had a cook out . . . sort of. It started out with this lovely hike in the woods near Tweleve Foot Falls.
It was Silas’s first time being in the woods and close to trees and things.
But alas, just as he was beginning a wonderful career in botany, or perhaps as a forest ranger, it began to rain. So we RAN as fast as we could carrying a baby and a stroller, respectively, but still got somewhat damp.
Silas’s hair turned VERY curly!
It rained for a little while we waited in the truck’s camper. Unfortunately, it was nearing dinner time, and all the campsites were wet, and the wood was wet, and it was still raining. However, “Prophetess of Doom” that I am (thank you, mama) I had forseen this possibility. We relocated, and cooked out anyway. Sort of.
Our George Foreman grill in the rec hall at Northland.
We did get some funny looks from some of the campers.
It was certainly a unique “Baby’s First Cook-in.”

I love my little curly-haired precious!!!!!
Hey that doom thing is good for being prepared! Yay!!
Love your resourcefulness and it looks like fun!
[...] Miranda posted this image of Enric and Silas from a recent outing they had. I thought some might like to see how Silas is growing. [...]
Oh, the George Foreman saved the day, cute!
I love that picture of Enric with Silas by the water!
Hey, if you wanted our old camera we could probably work something out to get it to you. It is rather bulky but it works, otherwise we are planning on selling it after we move.
I do have to say Mir that seeing you in capris at NBBC is a little weird.
