Ok! So here is my first shot at making a taggies ball. The template I think was maybe a little wide, since it is not totally round, but turned out rather pumpkin-shaped. Maybe I didn’t stuff it full enough, but LeAnna’s looks about the same, so maybe it is the template.
Silas does indeed like the ribbon loops (the “taggies”). They are easy to grab onto and, of course, to chew on.
I ended up sewing the first half of the ball together before I realized “Oops. I forgot ribbons.” So that’s why they are only along the two seams instead of one on each seam. Oh well! Silas is not choosy in this regard.
It was a very fun little project, and I definitely see this as a future baby-shower gift.
Oh I like yours too!!! I just had to eyeball that template since I don’t have a printer and it is just more fun that way…
